C6 Corvette Base to Z51 Brake Upgrade
Просмотров 10321 день назад
In this video, I upgrade the front brakes on my 2005 Corvette from the base model brakes, to the Z51/J55/HD brakes. This is a simple, relatively cheap brake upgrade for your base model Corvette. All you need are the larger rotors, and the adapter brackets. I was only able to find the brackets on eBay. The part numbers for the brackets are: 88964166 (Front) and 88964167 (Rear). Thank you for wat...

Jeep JK Baxter Adapter: Which Filter to Use?
Просмотров 2962 месяца назад
In this video, I give you the details of what oil filter I selected to go on the Baxter MR-202-BK oil filter adapter. The recommended oil filter is the WIX 57502XP, but I ended up using a K&N SO 1017 filter, because it fits under the engine cover without modification. This is a 2014 Jeep JK Unlimited Sahara. Part number MR-202-BK. Thank you, and enjoy!

How to Remove Jeep JK Wiper Assembly
Просмотров 1183 месяца назад
In this video, I remove the wiper motor assembly in the Jeep JK. I did this to replace the wiper motor. The first issue I had, was the wipers were not indexing properly. I cleaned out a glob of grease that was on the contacts, and that solved that issue. However, the nest time it rained, I think the motor got wet, and started making a terrible grinding noise. I tried to lubricate it, but that d...

Outdoor Modern Industrial Acacia Wood Coffee Table Assembly
Adding yet another sincere thank you. It was 93 degrees today when I was driving down the highway and, poof, suddenly no AC with an angry wife and 3yo in the backseat 😩. I know jack about cars but found another video that suggested to test it by swapping with one of the other relays. Sure enough ✅. Of course no AutoZones anywhere in the area had them in stock 😭 but found a local parts store to sell me one. Saved my ass today. Thanks again 🙏.
Great video my friend. You would have saved yourself a great deal of haste had you dropped drivers side castle nut from your tie rod and dropped it out of the way.
mine was 50$ came with clips nd the ac inserts
Thank you!
They make a Mini Fuse, 3-Circuit Add a Tap adds a line to your ignition switch right at the fuse box
True!
You're a life saver. Thanks. I was about to lose it.
I would like to hear a long-term review on this because I have a factory Chevrolet S10 dashboard and mine has cracked due to heat I wonder if the Chinese one you bought will crack easier I wonder if it uses the same plastic as Chevrolet did
Yeah, the plastic is admittedly thin… seems low-ish quality. But my truck stays in the garage, so it should last a long time under those circumstances
The tab doesn’t read anything on either side of my engine
Really? Weird.
Thank you sir 👍🏻
Can we make anything that doesn't break anymore?Something that last made in The u s a america again
If it doesn’t brake, then we don’t have to buy replacement parts! They’re geniuses!!
Thanks for making this video
Your content is fantastic! Do you accept sponsor jeep products?
Thanks
I used the K&N filter with the nut attachment on it. The engine cover fits fine.
Nice! Yeah, seems like lots of options.
Interesting. Mine lifts the car half way. I tried bleeding w/no luck. Wonder if this is the issue?
Not too sure…
@@CliffsHowTo Weird, first 2 times after, vehicle was back at half. Go to do other side, bam, higher. But not as high as new. And when I bled, I did it a few times. Sooo hopefully this will last. Id say its probably 3/4 high working. Good for now.
I just purchased my first 2004 Tahoe Z71. Not sure if it’s 4.8 or 5.3
I have an '07 CTS. It has 2 fans. 1 each on pass & dvr side of the rad. Driver side isn't coming on but a/c is working fine & no overheating. Possibly same issue?
I know if you’ve got two fans, they come on at different temperatures
Good IKEA hinge install
What do you do if there is a metal stud behind the stucco, and your drill won't cut through it?
Get a drill bit meant for metal.
@@CliffsHowTo I tried that but it didn't work. A friend of mine came over and told me that there seems to be a steel beam behind the wall. He had a different type of drill that was able to penetrate the beam enough to allow for a plastic anchor to be used.
gracias! problema solucionado!!!!!
I guess you can't get it no more I went to O'Reilly's advance Auto even eBay couldn't find it for a Chevy S10 Chrysler had one Ford had one nothing for a Chevy S10 so I went to the junkyard and got the whole thing out of the junkyard
Dang!
it doesn’t work on my 2001 s10 4 door
Really, that one’s different?
yah i had to use a pry bar and then ther were metal cylinder shaped things in there and i cut those out and then sent a basket ball 50ft in the air
I had no clearance issues with any hoses on my Grand Cherokee or the Engine cover , I used Mobil 1 M1-212A , M1-113A if want a shorter one, and if you want to use a Mopar Filter I also use Genuine Mopar Engine Oil Filter 68466307AB , it has the same flow rate and 22PSI Bypass setting but is 1/2” taller. I have had a slight issue with the filters leaking after hand tightening, they would seep a little after the engine oil gets hot, I would have to give it a 1/8 turn then to make it good not sure if anyone else has had this problem.
Damn. I lost a bet. Thought for sure you were a fellow Canadian. Reason, the excessive amount of thank you's at the end. I guess I should of known when you didn't say sorry once through out the video.
Hahahahahha! That’s funny!
My house is from the 80s so when i anchor stuff they studs are at 32in, when mounting the TVs the best anchor is the Hillman pull toggle, they go into the dry wall and if you use all 6 in the pack it holds 785lbs. Just dont pull the zip tie too hard on them. Figure if you in the same situation these anchors are safer than the ones in the video
Those will work as well
This really helped me out! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
You probably know this but the later model s10s had a horizontal shock on the axle that cut out the wheel hop maybe it's something you want to add if you don't have it
I didn’t know that actually! I think I want to do a 4 link. Either with coilovers or bags, not sure yet.
@@CliffsHowTo yep much better
what code did you get
I don’t remember what code it was, but the code was for a faulty oil pressure sensor. It would either read 0 or 99.
My daughter's 2010 Civic Coupe has been having an AC issue where it works for a little while and then blows only hot air. I replaced the relay you showed and it's working fine again! Thanks so much! You saved me so much time and $$$ because I know these mechanics would have suggested replacing everything.
No problem!
Thank u
You may want to consult the misses. Accurate 😂
I love short straight to the answer videos. Thank you. It was my first time changing one of these valves. Helpful af👌👌
Glad it helped!
Which filament brand did you use for the red?
That first lament was the Flashforge red that came with my old printer. I wanted a 1-1 comparison
I love my Baxter. In my JKU it ended up like yours, but my air valve is pointing towards the alternator a bit. I used the New FRAM FE10575! I’m a Amsoil user, and I’d never use a FRAM filter in a million years. But I found recently that the new FE series filters are a copy of the Amsoil oil filter. And even assembled in the same factory, with just an outside cosmetic difference. You can find those videos also here on You Tube. But whatever filter you choose. I feel the Baxter unit is a great investment to the life of the little 3.6. Great video
Dude just use dental floss it works great
I’ll have to try that next time.
The anode light on my GE Geospring started blinking. So I guess I'm replacing mine. I'm going to try and find one with the sensor wire.
$750 parts and labor.
Pulled out relay, shook it, reinstalled and it started working! Thought I needed a recharge. Thanks for your help!😅
Nice!
will this work on a 2016 Honda Civic, I just paid someone to recharge my civic and it still has no air conditioning......?
Maybe. But if you paid someone to work on the AC, and it still doesn’t work, I’d be going back to them…
you're fuckin nuts, first the capacitor is not a rectifier bridge, it's a storage device, it HOLDS ON TO ELECTRICITY ,AND RELEASES IT TO JUMP START THE MOTOR, so it can also potentially release it to the dumb human touching the + and - posts at the same time,,,,, if that fan wasn't running , and the cap was charged, you could get a massive jolt,,,, kinda like a defibrulator they use to restart the heart when when you have a heart attack,,, i'm probably writing this to a dead person by now,,,,, if not , do a little more research befor you just fuck with big wiring,,, hey, or don't, ignorance is bliss , rite ?,, oh , and 2 : that IS an AC motor, no rectifier required, rectifiers are used to change AC to DC Current
Thanks!
Nice video ! Im just getting ready to hang cabinets in my garage and will definitely use these tips. Love the level and clamp hack !
I’m glad you enjoyed it, and hope you picked up a couple of tips!
Is it necessary to have 2 original keys? Could I just , pull the 1st key , then re- install same key ? Then add spare ? Or is it mandatory to have 2 original keys ….
I believe so.
Was that dexcool? It doesn't look orange
Negative. I drained/flushed the dexcool, and used the coolant “for all makes and models”. It’s been that way for years, and I’ve had no issue.
lower Ball Joint removal & install, is easier with a shop press & correct adapters.
Can anyone please tell me which of the 4 sensors are heated? 07 JKUR. Please. 🙏
i did everything from top of car, much faster and no risk of car falling on you lol 😂
If you did it that way and it worked, that’s awesome!
@CliffsHowTo There's actually a lot of people that do it That way from what I've seen. I've done it twice now with no problems. It's actually very easy.Just need a ratchet wrench and flat head screw driver. Your video did have some useful pointers In it though so thank you
I use Mobil 1 M1-113A, and Purolator Boss PBL12222 on My Grand Cherokee and they both clear my Engine cover. My other 3 Vehicles use the same Filter and buy in bulk and get them for around $7-$10 each. I checked with Baxter directly and they said I was good to use these Filters
Nice! More filter options for everyone!
What do I look for next if compressor is spinning?
If the system is charged properly. You’d need to get a gauge set on there.
Thank you for your review! Cuz I’m about to buy hot tub at Costco but I wanted to know how the return is going to be.
What do i do if one screw has fallen out, and i cannot screw it back in
It’s probably stripped. There are a few ways to fix that. I don’t have a video on that, so you’d just have to search for something.
